MEGARO (Athens Concert Hall)
La création du monde
In the artistically restless Paris of the beginning of the 20th century, the music and dance prosper and walk side by side in a way that will leave an indelible mark in the evolution of both. Choreographed by Jean Börlin to the music of Darius Milhaud, with a libretto by Blaise Cendrars and stage sets by Fernand Léger, La Création du monde, a work from the Ballets suédois, was first presented in 1923 in Paris.
To mark its 15th anniversary, the renowned Fluxum Foundation, in collaboration with the Athens State Orchestra, KOA; Megaron, the Athens Concert Hall; and the Greek National School of Dance, KSOT, recreated the ballet in astonishing choreographic dramatizations.
