The MCA encourages family visits to its permanent collections and temporary exhibitions. Parents and kids of any age are welcome to get in contact with ancient cultures as presented in the galleries of the museum and participate in various activities. Frequently, in advance preparation helps parents to structure their visit and turn a museum day into a unique experience for their children. Therefore, the MCA offers a wide range of educational resources that allow parents to get familiar with the collections, orgnanize their visit and select the most interesting activities. Educational resources for a visit to the MCA

Parents can use the following resources in order to prepare a family visit to the museum:   Downloadable booklets and trails in printable PDF format with information about the collections and suggested activities.       A virtual tour to the galleries for kids.       A specially designed virtual tour for educators, with more detailed information about the collections and the exhibits.       Educational books and trails available in the Museum Shop.     Further information about the museum collections, the historical background and various aspects of the Cycladic, Ancient Greek, and Cypriot culture is available in the webpage of the  Permanent Collections. Saturday’s programme
