Between January and May, the MCA organizes lectures on the archaeology of the Aegean and the Eastern Mediterranean, modern and contemporary art as well as other subjects of more general interest. Greek and foreign academics, archaeologists, and art historians as well as young scholars with a significant research record are invited to present their work in the museum.
Weekends at the Cycladic Art Museum….are fun! From October to May, every weekend is an opportunity for children and their parents to engage with the Museum through interactive tours and make their own artworks taking part in art and other creative workshops.
Museum education is at the heart of our mission. We offer a daily program of educational activities and tours of the permanent collections and exhibitions.
